We are now accepting PREORDERS for farm-processed poultry. Our chickens are raised and processed on-farm by Hogs & Horns Homestead under our on-farm-slaughter license. - Chickens are sold by the animal and can be whole or parted. - The final price is calculated per pound of dressed weight. - A deposit is required to reserve. - Chickens will be ready for farm pickup or parking lot meetup in Edmonton, Spruce Grove, Sherwood Park, Leduc, Calgary, Red Deer, Lacombe, Camrose/Wetaskiwin, and Lac La Biche in October 2024.
Cornish Chickens – Farm Processed – PREORDERS OPEN
For the 2024 farm-processed poultry season, we are only doing giant cornish chickens by preorder. Preorders are open until the end of March Chickens will be ready for pickup in October and are processed on-farm. This means they are uninspected. Fill the freezer for the winter with parted and whole chickens raised on pasture with soy-free feed.

Heritage Turkeys – Farm Processed – WAITLIST OPEN
Heritage turkeys are packed full of flavour. They take nearly twice as long as commercialized breeds to reach butcher weight. Heritage turkeys typically have slightly longer legs and excellent flavour. Their meat is soft and succulent. We will be taking a limited number of preorders for 2023.
